Welcome to PageTurner. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PageTurner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
PageTurner is a book tracking application that allows you to:
- Track books you're reading, have read, or want to read
- Log reading sessions and track your progress
- Save quotes and write journal entries
- View reading statistics and achievements
- Sync data across devices using iCloud
3. Subscription Terms
PageTurner offers a free tier and premium subscription options:
- Free: Limited to 30 books with basic features
- Premium Monthly: $2.99/month with a 7-day free trial
- Premium Yearly: $19.99/year with a 7-day free trial
- Lifetime: $49.99 one-time purchase
4. Auto-Renewal
Subscription purchases are handled through the Apple App Store. By subscribing:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings
5. Free Trial
If offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple. To request a refund, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. We cannot process refunds directly.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the app, including book notes, journal entries, and quotes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and use any content you add to the app.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Interfere with the app's security features
- Use the app in a way that could damage or impair it
9. Intellectual Property
PageTurner and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PageTurner and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PageTurner be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms of Service.
14. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
